The mysterious K-329 Belgorod was handed over to the Russian Navy, officially “for research purposes”, revealed, on his Twitter page, the American expert HI Sutton, an analyst specializing in submarines and underground systems, write Blick and Die Welt. The K-329 is the largest nuclear submarine in the world and seems rather war-ready.

“The naval submarine was put into operation today and is in the service of the Russian Navy. It will be knocked down with poseidon torpedoes,” HI Sutton wrote.

According to the design data cited by the American exper, the K-329 is 184 meters long, 18 meters wide and nine meters high. Independence of navigation is up to four weeks.

Up to six huge Poseidon nuclear torpedoes, each 24 meters long and weighing 100 tons, can be transported and launched from the board. The nuclear warhead has a range of up to 10,000 kilometers.
