Slovenia no longer copes with new cofid-19 infection wave and imposes state of emergency over 30 days

The Slovenian government declared a state of emergency – for a period of 30 days – on Monday following a doubling of contamination with Covid-19 from last week’s level, reports News.ro

<p>Among these measures – which came into force on Monday – is the ban on any movement between the most affected regions, a ban on movement at night, between local time 21.00 (22.00, Romanian time) and 6.00 (7.00 Romanian time), a suspension of public and regional events and a limitation of meetings to a maximum of six people, Slovenian Interior Minister Elected Hojs announced on Monday.

Slovenia – which has been poorly affected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus since its emergence – announced that it had recorded 4,845 contaminations in the past week.
