It takes a few minutes for soldiers to receive the password from their command center, and the family opens the bunker door.

“My children were naked, they looked at the soldiers as if they saw God, they ran up to them and hugged them,” she says.

Outside, the bodies of friends and relatives lay everywhere in the green paradise of Nir Oz. Everything is burned and devastated: “I blindfolded my children and told them to look down.”
