Ana Bogdan qualified for the final of the BCR Iaşi Open tournament. Who will he meet in the last act of the competition

Ana Bogdan qualified on Saturday, July 22, in the final of the BCR Iasi Open tournament, WTA 125 category, after defeating Raluka Serban, a player Romanian representing Cyprus, in three sets, with the score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

Bogdan (30 years old, ranked 49 WTA), the defending champion and the second favorite in Iasi, prevailed, at the end of a great fight, after two hours and 42 minutes.

Raluka Şerban (26 years, 166 WTA) committed no less than 16 double errors. Born in Romania, she has been playing for Cyprus since 2019.

For Ana Bogdan this was her ninth consecutive victory in Iasi, and the match against Raluka Şerban was their first meeting.

In the final, Ana Bogdan will face the winner between Irina Begu, the main favorite, and Slovenian Tamara Zidansek.
