Former footballer’s former personal doctor hypothesizes Maradona killed herself: ‘He was tired of everything around him’

Alfredo Cahe, Diego Maradona’s former personal doctor, makes shocking claims about the great footballer’s death. On the show Confrontados, from the Argentine television channel Canal 9, the doctor suggested that “El Pibe d’Oro”, who died on November 25, at the age of 60, would have committed suicide, reports gazeta Sporturi.

On November 25, not a month after his 60th birthday, three weeks after having brain surgery to remove a subdural hematoma, Diego Maradona died.

Officially, because of a cardio-respiratory arrest.

Now Alfredo Cahe, one of the Argentine star’s former personal doctors, shocks with his statement.

“The last time I saw him alive was at the Olivos clinic, where he had been operated on. He was sedated and asleep. I couldn’t talk to him or the psychologist or the psychiatrist. They just closed the door in front of me,” Cahe said.

When I went to see him a second time, he killed himself. I think he killed himself because he was tired of everything around him. Everything that happened led to suicide. One of the nurses who stayed with him until the end said, ‘He didn’t want to live anymore. He was tired.’

Alfredo Cahe:

Argentine prosecutors have opened an investigation into Maradona’s death. They are looking to determine whether the former football great was the victim of medical negligence.
