Zelensky: We will regain all the lost cities. No Russian missile can destroy Ukrainian morale

The war in Ukraine is now in a morally and emotionally difficult phase, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a message to the nation on Saturday night. The leader in Kiev, however, promises that every Ukrainian city lost to Russia will be recaptured, reports News.ro.

The conflict has entered its fifth month and in the last 24 hours, Zelensky says Russian forces have launched 45 missiles at several areas of Ukraine.

“The occupiers were supposed to capture most of our country on the fifth day, but they have to hold such a rocket show in the fifth month, which does not change anything strategic for Russia. This is such a phase of the war – morally difficult, emotionally difficult,” the president said.

“Russia needs these missile strikes in cities all over the country, artillery and shells in the border areas of our state, border areas of the Chernihiv, Sumi, Kharkov regions, Dnipropetrovsk region. It is not only the destruction of our infrastructure, it is also a very cynical and calculated pressure on the emotions of our people,” continued the leader in Kiev.

At the same time, Zelensky said that the fact that the missile attacks took place shortly before the G7 summit, at which he will also be present, “confirms that the packages of sanctions against Russia are not enough, that Ukraine needs more armed assistance”.
